Larry, the reason they had the guns on one man in the Snatch robbery was to get the team through the metal detector. They had an angle to explain detector tripping on the the larger individual. If all four were carrying, all four would have set off the detector and certainly wouldn't have been buzzed in through the subsequent security door.
